Na de aanvaarding van de nieuwe 802.11g standaard heeft Transtec AG oftewel ttec Computers in Nederland en Belgie ook besloten zich te richten op draadloze communicatie op 54 Mbit technologie. ttec Computers introduceert daarvoor wireless access points (TTWL54AP) en LAN adapters (TTWL54CB ) voor notebooks.
