Het Taiwanese bedrijf Asmart brengt ene goedkope audio-oplossing op de markt voor wie wil genieten van Dolby Digital geluid. De kaart is voorzien van alle bekende aansluitingen waarmee het apparaat ook prima op een geluidsinstallatie aangesloten kan worden. Hoewel een prijs op dit moment nog onbekend is, zal de prijs van dit product waarschijnlijk erg laag uitvallen.
Wel moet opgemerkt worden dat de naamgeving die Asmart gebruikt op zijn minst lijkt op die van Creative en de zwarte kleur van de printplaat werkt ook nog eens mee om de indruk te wekken dat het hier om een Soundblaster gaat.
