Prestaties
Ook ditmaal hebben we het notebook weer aan een groot aantal tests onderworpen. De prestaties onder 3D Mark zijn prima voor een notebook uit deze klasse. De Gigabyte N512 presteert iets beter, maar dit is ook te danken aan de 100 MHz snellere processor. De prestaties onder Business Winstone zijn wel flink lager dan bij de Gigabyte N512. Dit is te wijten aan de tragere harde schijf, en ook maakt de harde schijf onder PC Mark 2004 het grootste verschil tussen deze twee.
De prestaties onder MobileMark zijn prima. Het MSI Megabook 510A biedt een werktijd van zo'n 4 uur, en dat is een prima prestatie.
