Sinds de release van Batman: Arkham Knight wordt er op het internet massaal geklaagd over prestatieproblemen op de PC. Uitgever Warner Bros. heeft de problematiek vandaag onderkend. De verkoop van de Windows PC-versie is tijdelijk gestaakt.
Op het Steam-forum zijn een heleboel negatieve reacties geuit over de slechte prestaties van de game op de PC.
In eerste instantie blijken vooral gebruikers van een videokaart van AMD getroffen te worden, maar ook kaarten van Nvidia blijken hier last van te hebben. Er wordt veel geklaagd over problemen met audio, slechte framerates en vastlopers.
Degenen die op Steam een versie van Batman: Arkham Knight hebben gekocht en hun geld terug willen, kunnen hier terecht, of bij de winkel waar ze de game hebben gekocht. In een verklaring op hun forum biedt Warner Bros. zijn excuses aan. Achter de schermen wordt gewerkt aan een oplossing.

We want to apologize to those of you who are experiencing performance issues with Batman: Arkham Knight on PC. We take these issues very seriously and have therefore decided to suspend future game sales of the PC version while we work to address these issues to satisfy our quality standards. We greatly value our customers and know that while there are a significant amount of players who are enjoying the game on PC, we want to do whatever we can to make the experience better for PC players overall.
