Eerder vandaag publiceerden we al een nieuwsbericht over de komst van Core i9-processors voor laptops, hetgeen Aida64 opgepikt had. Via Anandtech zijn ondertussen echter ook alle modelnummers bekend van de Coffee Lake-S (desktop) en Coffee Lake-H (laptop) generaties.
Intel blijkt flinke plannen te hebben, want de huidige desktopprocessors gaan over een onbepaalde tijd ongeveer 40 seriegenoten krijgen. Een belangrijke vooruitgang op mobiel vlak is dat CPU's met 6 cores gemeengoed gaan worden. Informatie over klokfrequenties en prijzen missen overigens nog, maar aan de hand van de huidige modellen (die in de tabel met een * aangegeven zijn), kun je alvast een beeld vormen.
Volgens Anandtech zullen deze nieuwe Coffee Lake-processors ergens in de eerst helft van 2018 het levenslicht zien.
