In line with Intel’s continued efforts to prioritize investments in its IDM 2.0 strategy, we have made the difficult decision to exit our Data Center Solutions Group (DSG). As part of this plan, MiTAC, an edge-to-cloud IT solutions provider and longstanding ODM partner of DSG, will have the right to manufacture and sell products based on our designs. We are focused on ensuring the DSG team and its stakeholders are supported during this transition.
With Intel’s continued efforts to prioritize investments in our IDM 2.0 strategy and reshape the company to drive operational efficiency, Intel has made the difficult decision to wind down the Datacenter Solutions Group (DSG) business.
Intel has enabled MiTAC to manufacture and sell all current shipping DSG products. MiTAC is an edge-to-cloud IT solutions provider and has been a longstanding partner of DSG. MiTAC is the current DSG ODM, manufacturer, test, and integration partner for these systems. Intel and MiTAC are working together to ensure a smooth transition. Intel will continue to take orders through Q2 to meet urgent demand, with last time ship in Q4. In addition, we have created a path for ongoing supply of DSG designed products through an alternate provider. And lastly, all products sold by Intel will continue to be supported and warranted by Intel.
