Real world benchmarks (in depth)
In onderstaande grafieken vind je de resultaten van alle testonderdelen van PCMark 8. Voor elk van de tests tonen we de gemiddelde lees- en schrijfdoorvoersnelheid, als ook de gemiddelde lees- en schrijftoegangstijd.
Het beeld van de Western Digital WD Blue SN500 blijft redelijk eenduidig: bij lezen gaan de Intel 660p en Crucial P1 op voorsprong, bij schrijven herpakt de SN500 zich. Daar zijn wel uitzonderingen op: bij de zware Photoshop test blijft de WD Blue SN500 in de achterhoede bij lezen, vermoedelijk door de afwezigheid van een ram buffer (de P1, 660p en A1000 hebben die wel, de Gigabyte m.2 ook niet). Ook met de After Effects test heeft de SN500 moeite. Je kan concluderen dat de WD Blue SN500 tegen zijn grenzen aanloopt bij zeer intensief dataverkeer of bij grotere workloads.
